I totally like the feeling of the Rules at the Baseball Clubhouse. I like what they mean and I like how they said them. I read some of the retrosheet entries and I love the idea of calling up the boxes with personalized descriptions for personally meaningful games.
That said, everyone is just a little too happy in the Baseball Clubhouse. But I’m not suggesting that’s a bad thing.
It’s a good site = almost all of the Mods and regulars there are veterans of the netshrine boards.
I sometimes seems a bit punchless and sometimes a bit too preachy about certain fairness issues (eliminating the word “sucks”) and not at all preachy about other issues, like speculations about personal issues of players, bitchy speculative comments about steroids that go beyond the occasional sloganeering and so forth….
But the people there are smart and well informed.
