Would you trade $4 Chris Carpenter and $5 Aubrey Huff for $16 Trot Nixon? I actually was only keeping Carpenter, I was going to try to snag Huff in the auction again.
Also, would you keep $4 AJ Pierzynski.
I’m not a fan of Carpenter’s (it’s the ratio, man), but I initially assumed everyone else would be. But I see that in LABR he went for $6, while Nixon went for $23. Carpenter has more upside, but the object in a league with a lot of inflation is to get uninflated value, and you have more of that in Nixon.
Pierzynski went for $8 in LABR, which is what he earned last year. Yeah, I’d keep him (though I wouldn’t be excited by it).
